International Internship Program

The National Accountability Group is currently seeking qualified interns from abroad to join us here in Freetown. This opportunity would allow interns the chance to gain valuable international experience as well as to contribute in a meaningful way toward the development of the only accountability and transparency NGO in Sierra Leone’s emerging democracy. Sierra Leoneans in the diaspora are especially encouraged to apply.  Internships typically last between 8 and 18 weeks.  We sometimes have vacancies for local residents.  If you are a local resident interested in working with NAG, take a look at our local vacancies at the bottom of the page.

Due to a lack of resources, internships are unpaid, so we would suggest you locate funding in the form of grants from universities and other institutions to finance your trip. We would be able to provide invitation letters to assist in securing your visa, and assistance on locating accommodation in Freetown. See more on Sierra Leone visa information.
